PRODUCT

Wheat Related Products
  • Bran

A by-product of the flour-milling process, namely the residue (wheat husk) left over after collecting the milled flour.

    ■ Applications: Feed for fattening cattle, dairy cattle, and hogs, mushroom culture medium, microorganism culture medium, enzyme raw material, etc.

  • V Senkan bran

V Senkan bran is made by adding 40% bran to 60% whole-grain ground wheat. The wheat endosperm is all attached to the husk. Therefore, cattle and other livestock can digest and absorb the flour (endosperm) during rumination. Ideal for animal health.

    ■ Applications: Feed for fattening cattle, etc.

  • Wheat flour

Milled wheat flour is classified, by degree of whiteness, into first, second, third, and off grade. Third and off grade are used for feed. Third grade has a large amount of gluten, and is suitable for making "fu" (a Japanese food made of wheat gluten). It is also used for starch, and as a binder for soba noodles.

    ■ Applications: Pellet feed binder, milk substitute, etc.

  • Wheat flour,
    off grade

Suitable for formula feed. Also suitable as a raw material for alcohol.

    ■ Applications: Feed for cultured fish, pellet feed binder, alcohol raw material, etc.

Corn Related Products
  • Corn gluten feed

A by-product produced when refining corn starch from corn, made up primarily of the hull part. Protein enrichment is achieved by adding corn steep liquor (immersion liquid) to this hull part.

    ■ Applications: Cattle, hog, and poultry feed, etc.

  • Hominy feed

This is a blend of germ, hull, and starch produced when manufacturing corn grits and corn flour from corn through dry processing. There is no major difference from corn in terms of feeding value.

    ■ Applications: Cattle, hog, and poultry feed, etc.

  • Corn cobs

Crushed and dried corn cobs. Used as a mushroom culture medium.

    ■ Applications: Mushroom culture medium, etc.

  • Flaked corn

Corn is heated with steam, rolled, dried, cooled, and made into flakes. Thick flakes are preferred for cattle, and thin flakes for hogs.

    ■ Applications: Cattle, and hog feed, etc.

Soy Related Products
  • Soybean meal

Soybeans contain about 20% oil, and soybean meal is the residue left after oil extraction. It has outstanding amino acid balance, with 44-48% crude protein content, and is highly regarded as the ideal vegetable protein feed. Meal is mainly fed to hogs and poultry. Semi-flakes, flakes, and pellets are fed to cattle.

    ■ Applications: Cattle, hog, and poultry feed, etc.

  • Soybean hulls

This is commonly called bean peel, and is popular for dairy cattle as a readily digestible fibrous feed. The material is obtained mainly through a process where soybeans are first peeled and then pressed for oil. Hulls are classified by shape into meal and "chochin" (i.e., left in the original round form).

    ■ Applications: Dairy cattle feed, etc.

Other Products
  • Rice straw

In the past, dried straw has been collected from paddy fields after the rice harvest, and fed to fatten cattle, but it is difficult to obtain domestically-produced rice straw, and thus we supply material imported from China.

    ■ Applications: Cattle, hog, and poultry feed, etc.

  • Brewers grains

This dried residue is obtained by filtering the wort from the mash, after mashing malt made from barley in the beer manufacturing process. Highly desired as dairy cattle feed.

    ■ Applications: Dairy cattle feed, etc.

Message

The feed industry is currently facing trends like lower domestic
consumption—due to population decline, a decreasing birthrate,
and an aging population—and revitalization of the global economy
through TPP and other initiatives. To respond to these trends,
the industry needs to improve its efficiency,
and businesses are growing in scale and forming alliances.

Under these conditions, local feed wholesalers,
small-scale livestock farmers, and other small operators are facing difficult times.

Since our founding in 1995,
we have provided a stable supply of formula feedstuffs and
other products, to support not only major formula feed
manufacturers, but also micro, small, and medium-sized farmers.

We are also actively cultivating overseas networks
to improve competitiveness.

Going forward, we will continue playing a role in
the stable supply of feed by leveraging the know-how we have accumulated,
and we shall strive for further development together with everyone in the feed and livestock industry.
